Why Gujarat’s dealers and contractors need a dependable ladder wholesaler
A ladder is the cheapest piece of safety equipment on any site, and the wrong one is the most expensive. From electricians in Surat and painters in Vadodara to warehouse teams in Rajkot and builders across Ahmedabad, people who work at height need ladders that match the job, carry the load and last for years.
That is why choosing a ladder wholesaler in Gujarat is not only about price. It is about range, genuine brands, spare availability and someone who can tell you which ladder suits which job. Sasta nahi, sahi lo – buy the right ladder once, instead of replacing a wobbly one every season.
This guide explains the main ladder types, walks through the ALLFOLD and Liberti ranges we supply, compares aluminium with fibreglass, and covers what to check on safety. It also explains how dealers, contractors and institutions can buy in bulk from a ladder distributor in Ahmedabad, with supply across Gujarat.

Ladder types and which job each suits
There is no single best ladder, only the right ladder for the task. This table is the quickest way to match a job to a type before you pick a brand.
| Ladder type | Best for | Typical users | From our range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Step ladder (A-frame) | Self-supporting reach indoors and on level floors | Homes, shops, offices, painters | ALLFOLD Apex, Hunter, Legendary, Liberti 5400 |
| Platform / podium ladder | Standing and working for long periods with both hands free | Maintenance teams, warehouses, electricians | Black Bourne, Liberti P5400, Hulk |
| Extension ladder | Reaching tall walls, facades and roofs | Painters, builders, telecom and utility crews | Liberti D2300-2 aluminium, D6300-2 fibreglass |
| Multi-position ladder | One ladder that works as step, extension, stairway and trestle | Contractors with mixed jobs | Liberti MPL, Little Giant Velocity |
| Telescopic ladder | Compact storage with long reach when needed | Maintenance, electrical, warehousing | ALLFOLD Telescopic, Liberti Telescopic 4.4m |
| Step stool | Quick reach for kitchen shelves and wardrobes | Homes, retail stores | Liberti Aluminium Step Stool |
| Mobile rolling ladder and scaffold tower | Long jobs at height where you need to move the platform | Factories, facility teams, construction sites | Liberti Mobile Rolling Ladder, Freiheit Mobile Scaffold Tower |
For work near electrical lines or panels, choose a fibreglass ladder. For frequent carrying between jobs, choose aluminium for its lighter weight. We cover that trade-off in detail further down.
ALLFOLD ladders: the everyday range for Gujarat homes, shops and sites
ALLFOLD makes folding step ladders and telescopic ladders aimed at everyday users: homes, offices, shops and light commercial work. Our ALLFOLD range has eight model lines. Seven of them are step or platform ladders, in steel or aluminium, and the eighth is a telescopic ladder. All of them fold flat for storage, which matters when a dealer keeps dozens in stock.
| Model | Build | Load rating | Sizes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apex | Powder-coated, anti-skid seat cover, 5-year warranty | 150 kg | 3 to 7 steps |
| Hunter | Heavy-duty mild steel, 7-layer powder coat | 150 kg | 3 to 7 steps |
| Legendary | Anodized aluminium, gold finish | 150 kg | 3 to 7 steps |
| Aristo | Anodized aluminium, silver finish, knee guard | 120 kg | 3 to 6 steps |
| Hercules | Mild steel, 230 mm wide steps | 150 kg | 3 to 6 steps |
| Hercules Pro | Heavy-duty steel, extra-wide anti-slip steps | 150 kg | 4 to 7 steps |
| Black Bourne | Aluminium platform ladder with tool tray | 150 kg | 3 to 6 steps |
| Telescopic | Extending ladder with safety catch on every rung | See product page | 2.6 m, 3.2 m, 3.8 m, 4.4 m |
Apex: the flagship step ladder

The Apex is ALLFOLD’s flagship powder-coated step ladder. It has a black finish, a heat-resistant anti-skid grip, an anti-skid seat cover on the platform and heavy-duty PVC shoes. It is rated to 150 kg, carries a 5-year warranty and folds flat to just 6 cm. Open height runs from 115.5 cm at 3 steps to 214 cm at 7 steps, and weight from 4.85 kg to 9.9 kg. It is the safe default for retailers who want one model that sells to almost every household.
Hunter and Hercules: steel strength for heavy daily use

The Hunter is a heavy-duty mild steel step ladder with a 7-layer powder-coated body that resists rust, wide anti-skid rubber steps and a top hand rail. Total height runs from 1,310 mm to 2,310 mm across 3 to 7 steps, and it carries 150 kg.

The Hercules keeps the same 150 kg rating and finish but widens the step to 230 mm for more comfortable footing, which suits users who stand on the ladder for longer. Hercules Pro is the heavy-duty upgrade and goes up to 7 steps for taller reach.
Legendary and Aristo: lightweight anodized aluminium

The Legendary has a fully anodized aluminium body that is light and corrosion-resistant. It carries the same 150 kg rating as the steel Hunter but weighs only 4.1 kg to 9.2 kg, so it is easy to carry between jobs. It folds to a slim 4.1 cm.

The Aristo is the lighter-duty, more affordable aluminium option, rated to 120 kg with a knee guard, in 3 to 6 steps. It suits household use that does not need the full 150 kg rating.
Black Bourne: a platform ladder with a tool tray

The Black Bourne is for people who need to stand and work, not just perch. It has a broad locking platform, a built-in tool tray, metal cross bars and an anti-rust aluminium frame rated to 150 kg. It is popular for ceiling repairs, painting and high-shelf access, in 3 to 6 steps.
Telescopic ladder: long reach, short storage

The ALLFOLD Telescopic ladder extends and collapses section by section. It comes in four extended lengths (2.6 m, 3.2 m, 3.8 m and 4.4 m), with a safety catch on every rung, a securing strap, a non-slip base mat and a reinforced footboard. It suits maintenance, warehousing and electrical work where a folding step ladder will not reach.
Liberti ladders: certified, heavy-duty and built for professional work
Where ALLFOLD covers everyday reach, the Liberti range covers professional and industrial work. It includes fibreglass and aluminium ladders built to ANSI and EN 131 standards, plus platform ladders, multi-position ladders, rolling ladders and scaffold towers. We list it on our site in sub-groups: Liberti, Eurostar, Little Giant and Freiheit.
| Model | Material | Rating | Sizes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eurostar Platform Ladder | Aluminium | EN 131, 150 kg | 2 to 8 steps |
| Liberti 5400 Step Ladder | Fibreglass | Type IAA, 375 lbs | 4 ft to 14 ft |

| Freiheit Mobile Scaffold Tower | See product page | Stairway access | 2.4 m, 8.4 m, 12.4 m platform |
Eurostar: a light, rigid platform ladder for home and light-duty use

The Eurostar 100 Series is an aluminium platform ladder rated to 150 kg under the EN 131 standard. It has a knee-height guard rail, a wide non-slip platform and serrated slip-resistant steps. The front and rear rails are riveted together with no plastic hinges, so the frame stays rigid. It is well suited to kitchens, storerooms and general household reach.
Fibreglass for electrical and maintenance work

The Liberti 5400 is a special-duty fibreglass step ladder rated Type IAA (375 lbs, about 170 kg). Its non-conductive side rails make it the safer choice around electrical work. A dog-bone spreader with a hand grip lets you carry and close it with one hand, and aluminium braces reinforce every step.

The D6300-2 is the fibreglass extension ladder, certified to ANSI 14.5 and rated Type IA (300 lbs, 136 kg). It is rope-operated with heavy-duty rung locks, runs from 16 ft to 40 ft and is the usual pick for painters, carpenters and crews working near live equipment. The P5400 platform ladder adds a wide aluminium platform to non-conductive fibreglass rails, in sizes from 4 ft to 12 ft.
Aluminium for reach, mobility and versatility

The D2300-2 is an extra-heavy-duty aluminium extension ladder certified to ANSI 14.2, rated Type IA (300 lbs). The top three rungs are marked red as the do-not-climb zone, and all rungs are serrated and slip-resistant. It suits industrial work at a fixed height, from 16 ft to 40 ft.

The Hulk podium ladder is for warehouse and facility teams. It has a 360-degree guardrail with a gate, a wide anti-slip platform with toe boards, a Type IA (136 kg) rating and sizes from 3 to 10 steps.

The MPL works in five configurations: twin step ladder, stairway step ladder, extension ladder, two scaffold bases and wall ladder. It is the ladder to recommend when one buyer has several different jobs. For smaller needs, the range also includes a step ladder with a fold-down tool tray, a flip-up combination ladder, a multi-purpose folding ladder and an aluminium step stool.
Little Giant: the articulating ladder

The Little Giant Velocity is a premium articulating ladder rated Type IA (300 lbs). Its patented rock locks allow a faster setup, tip-and-glide wheels make it easy to move, and it is described as up to 15% lighter than competing ladders. It converts between stepladder, extension and staircase modes in sizes from 13 ft to 26 ft. The Little Giant line also includes the Jumbo Step, Platform Pro, Trestle Brackets and an adjustable fibreglass safety cage rated Type IAA (375 lbs) for work between 8 ft and 14 ft.
Freiheit scaffold towers, rolling ladders and aerial access

For bigger jobs, the Freiheit Mobile Scaffold Tower is a 1.35 m wide tower with an integrated stairway and lockable castors, in platform heights of 2.4 m, 8.4 m and 12.4 m. The Double Width 3T Ladder Frame Tower is 1.45 m wide, in platform heights of 3.2 m and 12.2 m. The Liberti Mobile Rolling Ladder gives factories and facility teams a guardrailed platform on castors, from 1 m to 2.5 m. For aerial work, we can also arrange the MX1000S self-propelled scissor lift on request.
Aluminium, fibreglass or steel: which material suits your work?
Use fibreglass near electricity, aluminium when you carry the ladder a lot, and powder-coated steel when you want maximum strength for the price. That one line settles most purchases. The table shows the reasons.
| Factor | Aluminium | Fibreglass | Powder-coated steel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weight | Lightest, easy to carry between jobs | Heavier than aluminium | Heaviest |
| Electrical safety | Conducts electricity, so never use near live wires | Non-conductive rails, the safer choice near electrical work | Conducts electricity |
| Strength | Strong for its weight | Very rigid, handles hard industrial use | Very strong for the price |
| Weather and corrosion | Does not rust, suits Gujarat’s humid monsoon and coastal areas | Does not rust or corrode | Needs an intact coating, since scratches can let rust in |
| Cost | Mid-range | Highest | Lowest |
| Best for | Painters, retail, warehouses, frequent carrying | Electricians, utilities, maintenance teams | Homes, shops, budget-conscious dealers |
| In our range | Legendary, Aristo, Black Bourne, Eurostar, D2300-2, Hulk, MPL | Liberti 5400, D6300-2, P5400 | Hunter, Hercules, Hercules Pro |
Two practical tips for dealers advising customers. First, ask whether electricity is anywhere near the work, because that single question decides the material. Second, ask how often the ladder will be carried or loaded onto a vehicle. If the answer is daily, a few kilograms of difference adds up quickly, and aluminium pays for itself in less fatigue.
Safety ratings and choosing the right height
Check the load rating first, then the height, then the standard. A ladder that is too short tempts people to climb the top step, and a ladder rated below the user’s weight plus tools is unsafe from day one.
Load ratings explained
The rating is the maximum combined weight of the person, tools and materials. Our listings use two systems. Under the ANSI system, Type IAA is 375 lbs (about 170 kg), Type IA is 300 lbs (136 kg), and the lower Types I, II and III are 250, 225 and 200 lbs. The EN 131 standard is used for models like the Eurostar, which is rated to 150 kg. ALLFOLD’s step ladders are rated to 120 kg (Aristo) or 150 kg. For professional users, Type IA and IAA ladders are the better choice because they leave a larger safety margin.
Choosing the height
Choose by working height, not total height. The working height is the highest point you can safely reach while standing on an allowed step. As a guide, here is how it works out for the ALLFOLD Hunter:
| Steps | Working height | Total height | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | 720 mm | 1,310 mm | Kitchen shelves, low storage, small repairs |
| 4 | 970 mm | 1,560 mm | Wardrobe tops, wall hooks, light fittings |
| 5 | 1,220 mm | 1,810 mm | Ceiling fans, curtain rails, general painting |
| 6 | 1,470 mm | 2,060 mm | High shelves, taller rooms, shop displays |
| 7 | 1,720 mm | 2,310 mm | Double-height storage, warehouse racks |
A short safety checklist for every user
- Set the ladder on firm, level ground, and open the spreader fully until it locks.
- Never stand on the top step or the top cap unless the ladder is a platform model made for it.
- Keep three points of contact: two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand.
- For an extension ladder, set the base about 1 m out for every 4 m of height, and make sure the rung locks have engaged.
- Do not stretch sideways. Move the ladder instead.
- Keep metal ladders away from live electrical lines and panels.
- Inspect for bent rails, loose rivets and worn feet before use, and stop using a damaged ladder.
- One person on the ladder at a time.
Buying ladders wholesale in Gujarat: dealers, contractors and institutions
If you buy ladders in quantity, the best way to save money is to buy from a distributor with stock, not to chase the lowest unit price from a supplier who cannot deliver. We supply wholesale buyers across Gujarat with ALLFOLD and Liberti ladders from our Ahmedabad showroom.
Who buys from us
- Dealers and retailers who stock step ladders, stools and telescopic ladders for walk-in customers
- Contractors and builders who need extension ladders, platform ladders and scaffold towers on site
- Factories and warehouses that need podium ladders, rolling ladders and safety cages
- Institutions such as schools, hospitals, hotels and housing societies that need ladders for maintenance
- Electricians and utility crews who need non-conductive fibreglass ladders
How a bulk order works
- Tell us what you need: ladder types, sizes, materials and quantity. A rough list is enough.
- We suggest the right models from ALLFOLD and Liberti, and quote dealer or bulk pricing.
- You can visit the showroom to check the build of the ladders you are considering.
- We arrange delivery across Gujarat.
Mixed orders are welcome. A dealer can start with a few models and add more as they sell, and a contractor can combine a few extension ladders with a scaffold tower in one order.
| City | Typical ladder demand |
|---|---|
| Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar | Construction, commercial interiors, offices, retail |
| Surat | Industrial units, workshops, commercial buildings |
| Vadodara | Factories, maintenance teams, contractors |
| Rajkot | Engineering units, workshops, building trade |
Pricing depends on the model, size and quantity, so we quote on request rather than list a single wholesale rate. Call +91 81404 36157, or use the contact page to share your requirement.
Frequently asked questions
Do you supply ladders wholesale across Gujarat?
Yes. We are based in Ahmedabad and supply dealers, contractors and institutions across Gujarat, including Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot. Call or message us with your requirement for a quote.
Which ladder brands do you distribute?
We distribute ALLFOLD and Liberti ladders, including the Eurostar, Little Giant and Freiheit ranges under the Liberti line-up. You can browse all of them in our ladders category.
What is the difference between ALLFOLD and Liberti ladders?
ALLFOLD focuses on folding step ladders, platform ladders and telescopic ladders for homes, shops and light commercial work, in steel and aluminium. Liberti focuses on professional and industrial use, with fibreglass and aluminium ladders built to ANSI and EN 131 standards, plus extension, multi-position and rolling ladders and scaffold towers.
Which ladder is best for electricians?
A fibreglass ladder, because the rails do not conduct electricity. Look at the Liberti 5400 step ladder, the D6300-2 extension ladder and the P5400 platform ladder. Never use an aluminium or steel ladder near live wires.
What size step ladder should I buy for my home?
Most households do well with a 4-step or 5-step ladder. Choose 6 or 7 steps for tall ceilings or double-height spaces. Check the working height in the product specifications, not just the total height.
Can I see the ladders before I buy in Ahmedabad?
Yes. Our showroom is at Shop No 8, 1st Floor, Dev Aurum, 100ft Road, opposite Madhur Hall, Anand Nagar, Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad 380015. Call +91 81404 36157 before you visit so we can have your models ready.
How do I get dealer or bulk pricing?
Share your list of models, sizes and quantities by phone or through the contact page, and we will quote wholesale pricing.
Do ladders come with a warranty?
Warranty depends on the model. For example, the ALLFOLD Apex comes with a 5-year warranty. Check the product page, or ask us before you order.
